Gabby Delgado

GABBY DELGADO

Beginning Dance, Lyrical, Ballet, Jazz

Gabby began dancing at the age of 5 and has studied at multiple studios across New Jersey and Connecticut.  Her passion for performance also extends into the musical theater realm, where she has been both a performer and choreographer for various school and community theater companies.  In addition, Gabby works full time as a school social worker and is both a licensed mental health professional and doctoral student in educational leadership.  She is excited to be combining her love for dancing and education as a member of the ADA family!

AJ ASCHER

Ballet and Pointe

With a background that started with Youskevitch and went through SAB and Joffrey, Aj’s education, training and experience is outstanding and offers strength in technique, precision and speed. She is thrilled to work with the students here at ADA and boy, do they love working hard in her class!

  

 

AJ Ascher

ALYSA MCBERGIN

Beginning Dance, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Pilates
Alysa Is an ADA alumni who danced competitively and continued on to Sacred Heart University where she earned a B.S in Psychology with a minor in Dance. While dancing in college she was welcomed on staff at ADA in 2015. Miss Alysa is a company choreographer and instructor. She is  also a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor in Mat and Reformer, with addi training in Total Barre and on the Stability Chair. Pilates is an essential form of cross training for dancers so she is happy to be able to work with Dancers at ADA. When Miss Alys is not at ADA or running her Pilates studio she loves to hang out with her two dogs and her husband, Nick! Miss Alysa is looking forward to the 2022 season.

DAN SAS

Ballet

Dan L. Sas was the founder, ballet master, director, and choreographer of SAS School of Dance. He taught all levels of ballet in the Russian Vaganova method, Pas des Deux, and Character dance. Dan was born in Baia Mare, Romania, to parents who were both folklore dancers. His mom was a gymnast (who was chosen to compete on the Romanian Olympic team in the

1950s) and his dad was a musician. Dan left home at 9 years old to enroll in the School of Choreography in Cluj, Romania.

After 9 years of dedication and hard work, where he studied ballet and academics, Dan graduated in 1978. He served 18 months

in the Romanian military, and then pursued his career as a principal dancer at the Romanian Opera House.

Dan lives in New Fairfield, CT, with his wife Maria, and has three children. Dan is pursuing his lifelong dream of teaching, choreographing and inspiring students in the art of dance.

LISA DYE

Beginning dance, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Tumbling

Lisa has been on staff at ADA for many years and is loved and adored by all of her students.

TODD HALL

Ballet, Partnering

Todd studied at some of the most prestigious ballet schools in the country, including; The Boston Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet , Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, Italy and The School of American Ballet. Todd danced professionally with the Washington Ballet, and Boston Ballet among others. While in Boston, Todd earned a degree at Emerson College. Due to some serious eye problems, he had to curtail his performing career, and as a result developed a love of choreography and teaching dance. He has choreographed and taught ballet and pas de deux classes across the country from as far away as Alaska and up and down the east coast as well as  Europe and the Middle East. Todd’s classes are energetic and mentally and physically challenge students to reach their full potential.

Syril Hunter (Sky)

SYRIL (SKY) HUNTER

Hip Hop, Street, Animation and Breaking

Sky is new to the staff at ADA and is ready to bring wonderful energy, style and strength to our hip hop program,

NADIA BOUCHER

Tap

Nadia has been dancing for over 20 years. Tap is her favorite technique. She graduated from CCSU with a B.S in Dance Education and is currently working on her Masters of Education in Special Education. She has won multiple choreography and technique awards. Nadia also teaches a form of adaptive dance and dance therapy with art in a clinical day school. She has two dogs, Mack and Ellie and an orange cat named Sunshine. She is very excited to start her journey with us at ADA! 

Nadia Boucher

JENNA GARECHT

Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz

Jenna Garecht has extensive experience in the performing arts, having over twenty years of dance experience. She is an alumna of the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance, graduating in 2016 and while at RCD she was a choreographer for the Young Choreographer’s Festival in 2015 & 2016 in Stamford, CT, choreographing two lyrical pieces.  In addition to her training at RCD, Jenna studied ballet extensively under George Balanchine’s student Maria Calegari.  In addition to ballet, during her years of training, Jenna rigorously studied Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical. Dance has always been Jenna’s passion and she is committed not only to the art of dance, but also to teaching the next generation about the beauty, joy and self expression dance can possess.
